Finally Get An Immaculate, Radiant Smile — In Less Than 1 Hour!
Let me guess…
You're tired of hiding your smile because of crooked teeth.
So you went to a dentist to find out the right solutions and how long it would take to get an attractive smile, and they, of course, recommended wearing braces.
You told the doctor you would think about it and that at the next appointment you would start orthodontic treatment to straighten your teeth,
But as you thought about all the negatives — pain, an unsightly look or the inability to eat normally — you gave up on the idea just as quickly.
So you cancelled your appointment and said goodbye to the idea of a straight, attractive smile, because you would not be willing to wear braces if they came packaged with so many drawbacks.
Or worse, perhaps you said goodbye to the dentist entirely and gave up even on your periodic hygiene visits…
Well, you can relax, because it was not your fault — you simply were never given answers to your real concerns about wearing braces.
And although I am about to walk you through the important aspects of orthodontic treatment with braces, I know you will still have plenty of questions about this procedure.
So I thought I would give you the chance to get every answer, together with a specialist consultation, completely FREE…
Just click one of the buttons on this page and come find out how quickly we can give you a perfectly straight, attractive smile with the help of braces.
Professional Teeth Whitening — The Ideal Solution For A Radiant Smile
Professional teeth whitening means removing stains and discolouration from the surface of the teeth using hydrogen peroxide activated by the light of a professional lamp.
While at-home whitening kits use chemicals with a 6% hydrogen-peroxide concentration and carry a heightened risk of gum irritation or enamel damage, professional teeth whitening is done in a fully controlled, safe environment, under the supervision of the dentist, with far more potent gels at a 38% peroxide concentration.
In general, professional teeth whitening has the advantage of being more effective and safer than at-home whitening methods, with the professional treatment delivering faster, more visible results, while the dentist can monitor the effects of the treatment and adjust the dose of the substance used to suit the needs of each set of teeth.
38%
Of Patients Have Yellow Teeth And Will Never Manage To Whiten Them, Without The Right Help.
According to a study by DentaVox, 38% of patients have major stains or discolouration on their teeth that they will never manage to get rid of. And it is not their fault — they simply were not guided in the right direction. But it does not have to be just as hard for you.
We can whiten your teeth by up to 5 shades in less than 1 hour, instantly transforming the unsightly smile that is the result of years of staining and discolouration into a white, radiant one. Book your free consultation today to find out how you can achieve a perfect smile with professional whitening.
Will My Teeth Hurt After Whitening, Or Will It Affect My Teeth?
You are probably thinking that if you use an active substance at such a high concentration, it must surely harm your teeth somehow.
Well, that is just a myth! Professional teeth whitening, when performed by a qualified dentist, is a safe procedure that does not harm the teeth. At Smile Design we use quality, medically certified products that are designed to whiten teeth without damaging the integrity of the enamel.
And perhaps you have heard from someone, or read online, that after professional teeth whitening you will be left with permanent tooth sensitivity. But that is not entirely true either. Even if some patients may experience tooth sensitivity during or after treatment, it is temporary, mild and fades on its own.
On top of that, during professional whitening procedures the gum is permanently isolated with a protective barrier so the peroxide cannot affect it.
What Causes Teeth
To Change Colour?
-
1
Diet — Certain foods and drinks, such as coffee, tea, red wine, fruit juice, fizzy drinks, chocolate and soy sauce, can lead to discolouration of the teeth over time.
-
2
Smoking — Leads to the build-up of tartar and plaque on the tooth surface, which can cause them to discolour.
-
3
Ageing — With age, the tooth enamel thins and teeth can become more translucent, which can lead to a change in colour.
-
4
Antibiotics — Certain types of antibiotics, such as tetracycline, can discolour teeth if administered while the teeth are developing.
-
5
Dental disease — Diseases such as cavities, gingivitis or periodontitis can lead to a change in the colour of the teeth.
-
6
Dental trauma — Knocks or other trauma to the teeth can lead to their discolouration.
-
7
Genetics — Some people may have more yellow or darker teeth because of genetic factors.
The number of people who naturally have white teeth is very small, and achieving and maintaining an impeccable smile requires constant interaction with your dentist.
It is important to talk to your dentist if you notice a change in the colour of your teeth, as they can give you a personalised treatment plan and identify any underlying dental problems.
How Long Will My Smile Keep Its Shine After The Procedure?
In general, the effects of a professional teeth-whitening procedure last between 1 and 3 years, this interval varying with the patient's lifestyle and dental hygiene (how often you smoke or consume foods and drinks that can stain the teeth).
It is important to keep good oral hygiene and to avoid the foods and drinks that can cause discolouration, to prolong the effects of the treatment, and it is recommended to schedule regular check-ups with your dentist and to discuss future whitening plans (teeth whitening can be repeated without affecting dental health at intervals of 2–3 years).
At-Home Whitening Methods We Don't Recommend
We do NOT recommend at-home teeth whitening without a specialist's guidance. These methods and their drawbacks are:
Using store-bought whitening strips or gels — they are ineffective because the substances used contain a small amount of hydrogen peroxide compared with those used in professional whitening procedures, and the UV lamp that comes with certain kits is just an interesting gadget, playing no role in activating the peroxide. In addition, whitening strips can affect the gums.
Whitening with baking soda — the results are almost non-existent, and excessive use of baking soda can affect the oral mucosa and tooth enamel, leading to tooth sensitivity.
Using home methods such as brushing with activated charcoal or with 'whitening' paste — these are not teeth-whitening methods; they can only help maintain the shade obtained after whitening.
